
But anyway, I remembered some parts of it and not others. The story was simple, sad at times, but with spirit and I loved the kids' characters (although it took a few minutes to get through their thick southern accents). Gregory Peck was much better than I remembered as well. Chris and I discussed if the movie was made today, the outcome would have been more "feel good" than the original so I doubt it would carry the same raw feel.

To Kill a Mockingbird is on my list of books I want to read and movies I want to see. Yours is quite an ambitious list, with lots of mini-goals masquerading as bigger ones (eg watch IMDB top 100 movies). All the best with achieving your list!
